Couple focuses on local grains for legal moonshine

When Susan and Mike Spagnuolo pondered opening their own business in Brown County, they settled on a historic venture: legal moonshining. Bear Wallow Distillery — 4484 East Old State Road 46 — uses grains grown locally and equipment from other Indiana businesses, a decision that was very important to them, according to Mike. The distillery produces legal moonshine and bourbon.
